Cultural Heritage

The territory of the Southern Caucasus was inhabited from the times immemorial. Sites and tools of Paleolithic period, settlements and rock carvings of Mesolithic and Neolithic era demonstrate the history of early human progress. Numerous legends are connected virtually to all corners of the region.

Some comments of the Old Testament allow to situate Eden in Southern Caucasus and Noah's Arc rested on Mount Ararat to give rebirth to humankind here.

Difficult history of people settling this region left its traces everywhere and created peculiar and inimitable shape for each of three countries.
